OPERATION ST. NICHOLAS

During the holiday season, there is a heightened awareness of people who are in need of help in a variety of ways.  The phone in the church office rings with calls from those looking for a little extra help for their families at Christmas.  Operation Saint Nicholas has helped over 55 families in and around the Capital District.

Operation Saint Nicholas is another opportunity for us, as a church community, to help people in their time of need.  At this time of year especially, we seem to count our blessings.  Let us help others count their blessings as well.

Consider helping out!  Any amount, large or small, can make a difference in someone’s life.  Be a part of the blessing and let St. Nicholas live in your heart.  (While the givers and the receivers will remain anonymous, you will be informed with basic information as to how your contribution helped.)

Help decorate our Christmas tree with your gifts.  Those who donate a gift card or monetary gift, will have the opportunity to place a Candy Cane on the Operation St. Nicholas Christmas Tree located in the narthex of the church, or one will be placed on your behalf.  Help us fill up the tree with Candy Canes as a visual symbol of our church community’s generosity and support to help those in need, especially during the holiday season.
